Let It Be by Thomas Grady is an extremely unique book I have ever read. The way it is written shows a purely chaotic state of mind and radical ideas to solve the world's biggest problems. The book is unfiltered in its ideas and the manners to execute them are unheard of, as well. The book revolves around hemp and the ways it connects to issues worldwide, as mentioned in the title itself. It is a fun read if you keep an open mind and do not let your personal opinions on politics impact your reading experience. It touches on almost every major international problem and politics.
The author approaches geopolitics from very interesting angles. He has many predictions about the upheaval of economic systems worldwide and the next extinction which will cause chaos and give rise to unseen opportunities everywhere. Although the book is US centered, the issues discussed are also most relevant to the US. If someone doesn't follow US politics and civil turmoil, it might be hard for them to understand what's going on in the book. One must also be familiar with political leaders and industry leaders, both old and new, to properly follow the author's train of thought. The author is a self-proclaimed visionary but his ideas are not fully practical and need to be taken with a grain of salt. Although, there is no doubt the book is highly entertaining and often seems to go in the territory of sarcasm/cynicism. The author has undoubtedly spent a majority of time thinking about it and it is evident in his humorful and radical ideas which I enjoyed.

The book has quite a few typos and grammatical errors that break the flow of reading. I would rate it a 3 out of 5. There is some repetition in the book. The author uses examples from the animal world to explain his ideas. His ideas are mostly surface-level and lack any nuance about the challenges that will occur while executing them. His focus seems to be on reengineering the world and society according to his ideas which are highly idealistic but not practical. He uses statistics from various sources and graphs to make his points. There are excerpts from articles that demonstrate his ideas in many places in the book.
I would recommend it to adventurous readers or to someone who wants to expand their horizons. An interesting read overall.
