Poppy was looking for someone she could connect with and live with. Someone who can provide her with the utmost level of protection she desires. So she had more dates at her age, spanning 28 different dates. She needed someone who could communicate with her on a deeper level. That's how the title for Poppy Mortimer's book, "28 Disastrous Dates: A (Mostly True) Humourous Memoir," came to mind. Get the book to discover more.

Poppy Mortimer's book is a humorous and relatable memoir that explores the ups and downs of dating in the modern world. It offers a refreshing perspective on the search for love and the importance of finding someone who truly understands and connects with you.

The book's humor is amusing and makes you chuckle. She had gone through a lot of unsuccessful dates. This is an excellent life-learning opportunity. That's what I admire about the book. Poppy Mortimer's book is not only funny but also enlightening, providing a view into the world of modern dating and the obstacles that come with it. Readers may connect to her experiences and learn from her blunders, making it a must-read for anybody navigating the dating world.

The chapter "Date 2: Mr. Tunnel of Terror" was a little perplexing to me. The scenario with the firearm and the people surrounding the event perplexed me. As Poppy was talking about the dates, her partner was looking forward to saving himself and not thinking about his girlfriend. Which was a negative point for me. But it was entertaining.

The book was not exceptionally well edited. I saw one mistake that bounced back to not being well-edited. But after all, the book is interesting to read. Despite that, it deserves a full rating. The book is quite interesting. I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars.

I recommend the book to individuals who want to find their perfect pair of dates. The author has done a great job of presenting the topic engagingly, making it easy for readers to understand and relate to. Overall, it is a must-read for anyone looking to improve their dating experience.
