Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is a self-help book that focuses on healthcare and the ways in which one can get proper healthcare. The author, a healthcare expert, advises readers on the actions to take in order to live a healthy life. The author of the book used her own experiences as a patient and a healthcare provider to write the book from two distinct points of view.
Barbara’s love for healthcare can be easily traced to her family background because, for them, it was more like a family practice, so she followed their lead. The city of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, is where Barbara was born. She wrote about how healthcare was when she was a child because her father was one of the few healthcare providers in their community, so she witnessed a lot about healthcare. Barbara derived inspiration from her father, and her motive for writing this book is to educate readers on the relevant and basic things they need to know about healthcare. Pick up a copy to learn from Barbara’s self-help book.
There are many things I love about the book, but what captured my attention the most was the author's exposure to things about healthcare. Barbara’s 20 years of experience as a healthcare provider show how knowledgeable she is. I enjoyed reading the book because there are many helpful things one can learn from it. I learned about health insurance, and she explained why everyone should sign up for it. She further stated that most people see it as a waste of money because they are unaware of its value and how beneficial it is. I appreciate the author's writing style. I found the book easy to read because the author used clear and concise language.
There was nothing to dislike about the book because the author made efforts to communicate with the readers perfectly. The teachings of the author were well understood. I also enjoyed her teachings about primary care providers and money-saving tips. She also told the story of her mother when explaining how we can get proper medication at a cheap cost. To be sincere, I never knew I would learn a lot from the book before reading it, but I'm glad I read it. I really appreciate reading about her early experiences and her father's dedication to his job.
I’m rating the book 5 out of 5 stars. I gave it a perfect rating because of the book's great qualities. I found no errors in the book because it was exceptionally well edited. I recommend this book to healthcare providers and to those who are interested in health-related books because it would best pique their interest.
