Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Our health is something that should not be taken for granted. In any way we can, it would be better if we went for regular checkups and listened carefully to the advice of medical professionals. These and many more are expressed in Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C.
The author gave us a little backstory on why she took up the medical profession, as she shared from the very beginning how she got an illness she never saw coming and one she never expected. She stressed the need to take care of our health and the importance of going to the hospital for checkups. The author also shared the personal experiences she's had with her patients, all the while not disclosing anything about them. The author addressed the topic of the elderly being taken advantage of in the aspect or area of medical bills, which is why she stressed the topic of insurance and why it is important.
This is a one-of-a-kind book that should not be taken for granted, mainly because it concerns and focuses on the health of human beings. Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is a book that I find beneficial to us as humans. I find this book to be extremely beneficial because the advice the author gives is one that every human being needs. I admire the love that the author has for medicine. It is quite evident in the way she was ready to help in any way that she could as a child, and as an adult, she was open to listening to her patient's problems. I so much loved that she covered the topic of medical insurance because I learned a lot from her in that aspect and found it to be very educational and useful.
I cannot dislike anything about this book because not only did the author open the reader's minds to many things about medicine and many terms relating to medicine, but she also showed her love of mankind, and I found that to be very caring and commendable. The book was exceptionally well-edited, and I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars because of the care the author showed in the book and because of the exceptional and beautiful writing by the author.
I would recommend this book to those interested in the medical profession who would like to know more about how to study and understand their patients.
