In a world filled with people trooping to several health centers to receive treatments for their ailments, there is a need for them to be equipped with the right health information that would enable them to make good health treatment choices. Surviving the "Business" of Healthcare - Knowledge Is Power!: A Unique Perspective from a 4th Generation Family Practice Provider and Now Cancer Patient is an amazing book authored by Barbara Galutia Regis, M.S., PA-C. The knowledge embedded in this book was gleaned from the experiences of the author as a medical worker and as a cancer patient. This book details beneficial health tips that would guarantee the well-being of a person if he or she paid attention to the details in this book. The writer described what her cancer recovery journey was like and the importance of doing everything possible to ensure that our health is in check.

This book taught me that the combination of love for a career and encouragement from a loved one can give us hope and also increase our morale, especially at our lowest moments. The writer had already started to compile the content of this book before she found herself fighting cancer. Although she received the news with shock, the soothing words of her partner, Tony, and the positive impacts of her health advice on her patients made her feel alive, thereby giving her the needed strength and enthusiasm to make this book and her other achievements a reality. Hence, sometimes, what keeps us going after a career despite the stumbling blocks that would want to shift our focus is the passion we have for it and the positive effects it has on people around us.

I was delighted by how the content of this book flowed. It made me resonate better with the subject. Furthermore, self-motivation and personal determination are essential characteristics an individual must inculcate into his or her life before his or her major goals can be achieved. What happens to your aspirations when you don't have anyone encouraging you? Would you relent in pursuing your goals? If you feel you would do so, then you need to learn how determination works from the author. So, get this book.

I, therefore, rate this book five out of five stars because I did not dislike any aspect of it. It was edited professionally and had no ambiguous sentences. I also rated it excellently because it taught me that a person should be allowed to choose his or her career by himself or herself rather than having a different career imposed on them. The author's partner allowed the wife to practice her career even when the downs of life came because he knew his wife had a strong passion for medical science.

I recommend it to medical doctors, natural healthcare physicians, educational book readers, students studying medical-related courses, and individuals that want to acquire knowledge of what it entails to have good health because this book will enlighten them more.

A book filled with tips that can help someone attain a higher level of health is definitely worth reading. And yes, I agree with the fact that at our lowest points, all we need is just to know that there are people who truly care and our loved ones should always be there for us no matter what. A wonderfully written review.

The inclusion of thought-provoking discussion questions at the end of each chapter encourages readers to reflect on the concepts and apply them to real-world scenarios.
