Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is a book that shows both the field of medicine and also gives the best advice to those who have difficulty with their medical lives. The need to go for regular checkups is not something many people have in mind to do, but a look at this book shows us the importance of those regular checkups and how they can be impactful in our lives.
After noticing a few things about her body, the author stressed the need to go for a checkup. An eventual checkup gave her a result she never expected. The author goes on to stress the need to go for checkups and why they can be important in our lives. Living with her father, who was a medical professional, really gave her deep insight and knowledge into the field of medicine. As she shared her past life, she also made sure to advise people on how to overcome many things in the medical field.
I've never really known much about medicine, what it entails, or what the human body needs, which is why I cannot take this book for granted. I got to know so much about the field of medicine, even though it was not enough for me to start a practice, but enough for me to know that the human body is very delicate and requires special care and attention. Furthermore, I've always considered the bills associated with going to the hospital for checkups, but Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C made the readers realize that they can overcome that and so much more by learning how medical insurance can be of huge help to us all. Not only that, but I also loved that the author shared her experiences. Furthermore, I could see where her love for medicine came from because the compassion her father had for his patients made people love him even more. The author could see that, and it encouraged her to want to help and to show that to people.
I loved everything about this book, and I found nothing to dislike about it because it indicated that some people in the medical profession do care for their patients. I also appreciate that the author shared some of the instances she has had in the field; that is something I cannot take for granted. The book was exceptionally well-edited, and I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars because of the genuine compassion coming from the author while relating these messages to the readers. I also give it this rating because of all the positive reasons I mentioned earlier.
I would recommend this book to those who would love to be medical doctors or those interested in the medical profession because I feel they can learn a lot about how to handle their patients.
