A Dream For Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, follows the story of the author as he talks about his childhood growing up in Algeria, his college days in France and subsequently in the United States, his role in the fight for the independence of Algeria, and other events in his life.

The author accomplished so many feats in his career and played backstage roles in some notable events of history. Some of his adventures that are worth mentioning are his visit to the Vatican City in Rome, Italy, and his encounter with Pope John Paul II; his visit to Mecca; his visit to the White House; his involvement as a mediator during the conflicts between Israel and Palestine; and to crown it all, his formulation of a hypothesis that leads to the discovery of an enzyme. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah also served as the special advisor to President Houphout Boigny of Côte d'Ivoire.

If I had to list the best thing I liked about this book, I would choose the diversity of the historical stories told by the author. He didn't just talk about boring history; he talked about fun and educational things that happened in the past. I was able to learn more about the inception of the Biafran War and the Cold War. The author also uses this book to educate his readers more on some of the war strategies used by some nations during those wars. These strategies were not easy to decipher, but he spoke extensively about them and explained their aftermath.

I found nothing to hate about this book; it was written in an excellent manner, and I cannot think of any further modifications as to how it should be improved. The author did a perfect job writing this book, and I am glad I read it.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars; this shouldn't be a surprise as I had no dislikes about it, and I would be more than happy to read it again. This book had no errors in it; it was perfectly edited. I recommend this book to people who love reading books about politics, wars, and science.
