Always Strive to Be a Better You: How Ordinary People Can Live Extraordinary Lives is a book written by Pete Hall. This book is uniquely special. This book offers the fundamental ideas and ideals that we all strive for on a daily basis. In this book, the author talks about key ideas, and he draws these 13 "key learnings" from the lives of seven regular people: Andre, Brooke, Chelsea, Derek, Jennifer, Matt, and Tammy. These individuals have meticulously crafted and curated lives that are, in many ways, amazing. The Key Learnings follow four big themes that build upon each other and also stand alone as opportunities to grow, to learn, and to excel. The messages passed through the themes were clear, and we were advised to know ourselves, work for love, let our lights shine, and rule the day.

I love this book a lot. The author passed along powerful messages through this book. He didn’t just share great ideas; he provided a platform that allowed us to take the next step. Pete has a very exceptional ability to distill his ideas in a humorous and clever way. He passed his message as clearly as possible. I didn’t encounter any errors in this book, so I can state that this book was exceptionally well edited. He took his time, making sure there were no errors. I love that this book is inspiring and genuinely wants to help you look deeply at yourself and become a better you. Another thing I like is that the book is really interactive. Pete repeatedly asks you to take a moment, think, and respond to his queries, and I advise anyone reading this book to do it! The quotes and poems he occasionally mentioned were really insightful about finding one’s purpose. The poem "The Bridge Builder" was my favorite to read. It made me want to leave the world better than I found it, much like the bridge builder who, fully aware that he would never traverse that path again, decided to build a bridge across the gap despite discouragement.

I had no issues with this book. Everything was on point. His style of writing, his editing, and the message passed.

I rate this book five out of five stars. This is because I could not find a single fault with this book. Everything was well written, and I genuinely loved the message and how it was passed.

I highly recommend this book to those who want to look deeply and become better versions of themselves.
