Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, M.D. and Alexandra Gold, M.D. is a self-help nonfiction book that discusses the causes of stress and anxiety, their manifestations and signs, as well as both organic and synthetic methods to treat them. The initial sections of the book describe the primary causes of stress as well as the challenges associated with depression. The later sections delve more into the individual and societal effects of stress and anxiety. We are able to observe how stress and anxiety influence our perceptions and interactions with others. Recent statistics show that more than 50 percent of the current population is grappling with anxiety and stress. This figures are expected to increase in the coming years if no stringent measures are put in place to curb this issue. For those keen on understanding the dynamics around stress and depression and how to deal with it, Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress is a must-read for them.

The author's diction and narrative style are my favorite aspects of this book. Since this is a practical guide book, the choice of words makes it possible for the average reader to completely comprehend its contents. The authors use fewer medical terms when describing the various anxieties and treatments. A reader with little medical knowledge can easily understand the content of this book. I adored how the authors were able to include external hyperlinks within the book so that readers could gain access to additional information, specific remedies and guidelines.

There were a few things I did not like about this book. I felt that its length did not do justice to the main issues it attempted to address. I believed that certain sections of the book were rushed and underdeveloped because they lacked sufficient explanations and examples. I am certain that the authors would have increased the book's length without affecting the progression of the narrative.

Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, M.D. and Alexandra Gold, M.A. has been professionally edited with no errors impacting its readability. The authors' mastery of content and narrating skills are key features that make this book standout from the rest. The positive aspects of this book make it entertaining and educational. The few negative aspects of the book highlighted above make me take away a star from this lovely book. Consequently, I rate this book four out of five stars.

I highly recommend this book to an adult audience keen on understanding the dynamics of stress and anxiety.
