Thriving in the Strom is excellently written and well edited book. What I really liked is , how thinking positive and focusing on the goals helps one to achieve their goals. The Writer Murphy never deviated from the topic he is onto. Everyone at some point or the other comes across some Obstacles, where generally people deviate or take a negative step or give-up. By mentioning how he was abused by his father and how he dealt with by taking up odd jobs, how to conquer a situation not by anger or getting himself hurt but in a productive way by earning at the age of twelve . This book helps readers how to stay positive ,setting little goals and slowing achieving them helps in long run. There are some catch phrases which I really like, Like "You get back what you give" , "There is nothing one can control when obstacles occur, but to choose how to react and deal with them". These phrases are pretty simple ,everyone faces obstacles ,but at situations these phrases help a little by taking a step back and think it over. There is no age limit as to who can to read it ,everyone can read it . The language is simple and easy to understand.
It would have been more interesting , if he had not repeated same sentences through out the book.
I would rate this book 3 out of 5 .
