Review of Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress
I've seen many people deny themselves of various pleasures and fun just because they were too afraid that they might get hurt and injure badly and that it was better to be safe than to have fun and get a broken limb. Reading this book, you'd get to see reasons as to why we need to rid ourselves of thoughts like that.
This book discusses the various ways anxiety, stress, and fear affect our daily activities as human beings, their symptoms, and various remedies we could use to free ourselves from them and become better.
Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, MD, is a nonfiction book that serves as a guide towards getting the toxic effects of stress and anxiety out of our bodies. What I really liked about this book was its richness of information. The things written in this book are things we'd usually learn by watching health-related TV shows or meeting doctors, but this book just puts them in a simple manner, so it could serve as a self-help book. There was so much to learn from this book that I feel everyone who gets a peek at it won't go home empty-handed without learning something new. From the book, I got to know that there are over 19 million cases of diagnosed anxiety in the United States alone, and studies indicate that most people will suffer with the symptoms of an anxiety disorder for at least ten years before seeking help. I also got to know that, even though the symptoms of anxiety vary, there are some general feelings and sensations that are familiar to most anxiety sufferers. If one could relate to any of these symptoms as being a larger part of their lives than they would like, they might be suffering from them due to an anxiety disorder.
One could not state problems without preferring solutions to those problems, and I really liked how the author did justice to that by providing natural remedies and medications one could use to overcome anxiety and stress problems. Some of these remedies are either herbal or natural-based, like chamomile, lysine, or hops.
The only thing I disliked about this book were the generic and biological terms used in it. It got me confused for a bit while reading the book, but aside from that, the book was really great. I rate this book four out of five stars because of my stated dislike for it. I did not find any errors, which means it was exceptionally well edited. Furthermore, I recommend this book to readers who would like to know how to get their bodies in better shape.
