Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book A Dream For Peace was outstanding. It was a book that touched on every facet of life, including politics, adversity, accomplishment, and social interactions. It is a non-fiction book written as a memoir, with a primary emphasis on the author's life. The name of the Algerian town where the author was born is mentioned. At the base of the mountains, in the province of Constantine, stood the settlement. Also, he talks about his happy yet modest family.

The author discusses a variety of political topics, including Algeria's political structure both before and during the arrival of French colonizers. Furthermore, he discusses pre-colonial society's social milieu. He cites, for instance, the Saighi, the tribe of his father. He also mentions how he was a little child and how security lapses were prevalent. The first chapter's main discussion area is the author's early life and the events, including weddings, that influenced it.

There are around 645 pages in this book. Several factors made this book exceptional. The book's amazing quality that kept me reading the entire thing without getting bored was its clear and fluid writing style. In this book, the author also used images. The images selected represented the author's life at various points in time. This made the story simpler to understand. There are seventeen chapters in the book.

The flow of the plot shows how well-organized the book was. There was nothing about this fantastic book that I didn't like. This book contained no errors. For instance, when reading, I didn't notice any spelling or grammar errors. This book had illuminating and instructive stories. In addition, this book had several themes that I picked up on. These themes include, among others, colonization, family, grief, deprivation, prejudice, and achievement.

I gave this book a score of 5 out of 5 stars. The primary reason I gave this book a perfect rating was that it was flawless. My second justification for awarding the book a perfect rating was that it was informative. I believe the title was appropriately selected to fit this book. The cover was also carefully chosen. It was lovely. Those who enjoy memoirs should consider reading this book, in my opinion. Since this novel has a lot of historical components, I would also recommend it to history buffs. I'll also buy a hard copy of this book and add it to my home library to read it again.
