Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
Surviving the Business of Healthcare is a book written by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C. This is a self-help book that focuses on how we can manage and care for our health. The book provides relevant information about the healthcare system and what we need to do in order to live a healthy life.
Barbara grew up in Coopersburg, where her father practiced as a healthcare provider. She was inspired by her father's love for the profession. Barbara’s father was one of the few healthcare providers in Coopersburg. The author switched from her career in music to a career in medicine. Barbara is a physician who has been in practice for over 20 years. She has in-depth knowledge of healthcare. Barbara explained the concepts of health insurance and primary care providers, among others. But sadly, she was diagnosed with skin cancer. I advise you to get a copy of the book to learn more about healthcare.
There are many positive aspects to this book. I love the writing style of the author. Barbara wrote the book properly and gave full details on the importance of proper healthcare. It’s a known fact that most people don’t give much attention to their health. They rarely go for checkups, even when given an appointment by medical practitioners. I love the fact that the author advised readers on health insurance and the reason why everyone must subscribe for one as it saves medical expenses. I also appreciate her for providing detailed information on the transformation of the healthcare sector, as she wrote about the challenges and the need for improvement in some aspects of the sector.
I didn’t dislike anything about the book. The book was written with clear and concise words. It was really informative and educational. The author's personal experiences taught me a lot of things. I felt inspired that she followed in the footsteps of her father. I also love how the author showed utmost diligence in carrying out her duties as a primary care provider. I’m glad the author criticized her colleagues for taking advantage of patients and extorting them.
I'm rating this book five out of five stars. It deserves a perfect rating because of the positive aspects of the book. I found no errors because it was exceptionally well edited. I recommend the book to those dealing with healthcare problems, healthcare workers, and those who want to learn about healthcare because the book provides a lot of information about proper healthcare services.
