A Dream for Peace, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is a memoir about an activist's struggle fighting for Algeria's freedom. Algeria, where he was born, was a French colony. He was a medical student, although he had dabbled in activism at one point. A high level of success in life was made possible for Berrah by the ambitious people he met during his academic years. Despite being a doctor, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah had a wide range of clearly stated objectives. As a scientist, he discovered something fascinating about the human race. He was the first scientist to propose a theory for "reverse transcriptase enzymes." While battling for Algeria's independence, Dr. Ghoulem endured a great deal of persecution. He traveled far and wide to seek assistance from other nations. He became well known throughout the world for his enthusiasm for liberating Algeria. He helped the president of Cote d'Ivoire.

The photos in the book were well used. I could visualize the events in the novel, and it became more detailed. Despite the many challenges he faced, Berrah persisted. He met illustrious personalities as a result of his quest for liberty. In the book, Titi and Ghoulem's romance is discussed. I really enjoyed a lot of things about this book. The reader was able to establish a strong connection with this remarkable man since this memoir was presented in straightforward terms. Dr. Ghoulem added narrative to his many talents, in addition to being a great diplomat and an excellent ambassador. The book had a strong social message. The author has always wished for a world that is free and at peace, as well as for Africa to progress. He was against racism and wanted Algeria to be an independent country.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was insightful and informative to read, although the book was too long and I couldn't pronounce some words. Other than that, I enjoyed reading it from the beginning to the end. By being open and vulnerable, the author deserves recognition. He expressed the facts in a way that made him relevant and likeable, and I loved that he didn't sugarcoat his experiences.

I am rating this book, A Dream for Peace, 5 out of 5 stars because it was well-organized and compelling. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it. Therefore, it was exceptionally well edited.

I would recommend the book to someone who enjoys memoirs that are politically charged and international diplomacy.
