Review of A Dream For Peace
In his autobiography, A Dream for Peace, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah describes his efforts to promote international harmony. Dr. Berrah gives a detailed account of his life's journey, starting with his early years in the Constantine area of Algeria. During this time, France. Dr. Berrah still governed Algeria wanted to become a well-known rider, but he had no clue that his acts of bravery, devotion, and patriotism would make him a household name instead of a rider.
In order to obtain a medical degree, the author moved to Bordeaux from Algeria. Here, he met a lot of new international acquaintances. They formed relationships and friendships. With a group of friends who shared his objectives to help Algeria in gaining independence, Dr. Berrah founded a group here. They faced a number of challenges. This narrative is built on the difficult path to revolution and freedom. Dr. Berrah rose to fame and even developed a strong relationship with the president of Cote Ivoire as a result of his dedication and devotion. His achievements in academia were also acknowledged. He was both a scientist and a Yale University professor. His challenging route toward love and marriage was also recounted in the memoir. A Dream For Peace has further information about how Dr. Berrah carried out his numerous diplomatic initiatives.
Reading Dr. Berrah's perspective on race, religion, and world peace was a genuine pleasure. I enjoyed reading this story that I came upon. It is a privilege to read a well-known author's work and get knowledge from him. His disposition is fantastic. He is loyal, committed, proud of his country, and a believer. His comments on happiness were one thing that attracted my attention in particular. He asserted that the majority of us attribute a significant piece of our identity to the acquisition of material goods and the connection of our happiness to them. Dr. Berrah claims that these things merely serve to deprive us of our identity and spirituality.
"Peace starts with every one of us; it shouldn't be a fantasy," says Dr. Berrah. I believe that we must first practice peace in order to transmit it to our families, friends, and communities. While it was unachievable, as the title hinted, the author yearned for peace for everyone, especially those he had interacted with, such as Israelis and Palestinians. Here, I discovered more about the "poison" alliance between the US, Israel, and Palestine. Formerly, I thought that Palestine was the only nation at fault, but now I see that all three countries have some responsibility.
I'm not at all bothered by this tale. It's inspiring and educational. Dr. Berrah has done so much in his lifetime, and I am really proud of him. He gave us an example of how easily two religions may coexist by marrying a Jew. These reasons are why I gave this book 5 out of 5 overall. I didn't see any errors either in this. So, it has undergone competent editing.
I'll recommend this to everyone who like historical fiction. Anyone who wants to understand more about diplomacy may read this.
