Dr. Ghoulem Berrah transports us to the era of France's annexation of Algeria in his book A Dream for Peace. He joined the student unions in France because of his fierce and intellectual desire to see Algeria free from the French. In his pursuit of freedom, he seeks kinship with other overseas students who hold similar ideals. He gets imprisoned while carrying out risky clandestine operations abroad because his acts attract the notice of the police. Besides actively and passionately seeking his country's independence as a freedom warrior, he succeeds in many other areas as well. He interacts with international leaders via his diplomatic trips, and he has the chance to further his cause through his employment as an interpreter for presidents and foreign dignitaries. The journey of an ambassador in search of his life's purpose is chronicled in the book A Dream for Peace. With a burning passion to serve Africa, he works to alleviate human suffering and bring about world peace.

This book has a lot of positive aspects. I was able to see parallels and distinctions between how politics were conducted in the past and the present because of Berrah's presentation. He outlined the value and significance of diplomatic missions in fostering international harmony and peace. The book explained how a country's decision might have a variety of effects on the world. His story seemed more realistic thanks to the use of images. He collected information about several nations throughout his travels, and this is a priceless source of reference for individuals researching international and global commerce. His story transported me to several nations, and I was able to see the exchanges between authorities as if I were there with him. I like the idea that I was reading nonfiction from a writer who had experienced important events in global history, such as wars, the liberation of nations, elections, and the assassinations of political figures. The book's title was quite appropriate since the author carried out his vision by encouraging harmony and peace both inside the Algerian administration and among the nations of Africa.

The book addresses a number of themes that readers may relate to, including jealousy and envy in the workplace, the value of friendships, and many types of relationships. It placed a strong emphasis on family values, and I applaud the author's affection for his mother. I found myself nodding in accord with several of his viewpoints on many occasions. His honesty, boldness, patriotism, and bravery in standing up for what he believed in were admirable traits. Unfortunately, I found a few grammatical mistakes.

Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book A Dream For Peace is an interesting and educational read. I had the impression that the book was properly edited since there weren't many grammatical mistakes, which made reading it enjoyable. I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

This is for you if you like reading personal memoirs. Due to its discussion of religion and faith, this book will not be appealing to agnostics and atheists. Also, owing to particular comments regarding the author's faith, non-Muslims may find it difficult to connect to or agree with many aspects of the book.
