Review of Seeking... Finding... Healing...
In process of living a life we often forget to talk to ourselves. So often we don’t consider talking to our inner self who is waiting for us to ask. To grow or Prosper in our truest selves, to create the grandest versions of ourselves, conversation with our inner family is very important. Because it helps to seek what is needed, find probable solutions to problems, and helps you in the process. So to be fully Alive, you need to be free and detach yourself from everything that is bothering your inner family. This is exactly what I learnt from Becky Lu Jackson’s “Seeking.. finding.. healing”.
The book is divided into Parts. It acts as a Guide. Each part gives a different aspect towards the healing process so that the reader can have a smooth yet favorable informative guidance. First part started from Author's Personal Healing experiences and her journey. Last part ended with different exercises and Visualization steps for inner family work. The Author's language was also simple and easy to comprehend giving readers a wholesome experience.
Becky has been given a proper path with all kinds of exercises and actions needed for the healing of the inner family. Building an inner family is talking to the younger self means the self that is younger than your current age, and having a two-way conversation so that one can heal one's past and connect to ultimate energy. The most beautiful thing in the book is the way Author talked to her younger self, how she comforted her younger self, accepted her flaws with genuineness, and found valuable guidance from it. The Author also encourages the reader to indulge in the process fully with courage and integrity by outlining all the benefits people can have in their self-healing. The book also offers great wisdom from the people who actually get benefitted from the healing process which adds a zeal to learn and grow.
The book has appeared to be professionally edited with flawless language. Although the book has given a detailed path, it did not consume me fully as a reader. The book does not engage your full attention as some things seem to be reappeared.
I give this book a rating of 3 out of 5 stars. I deducted two stars because I feel more engagement is needed. I, however still believe the message Author wants to convey and that is worth reading to know our true selves. Therefore I recommend this book to anyone who doesn’t want to stuck in their past, heal and wants to live a regretless life with their inner self.
