Review of Reconfigurement
The book Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer is a comprehensive book that talks about planning ahead for retirees and potential retirees. This book opens up employees to various ways they can maximize their retirement period through various post-retirement activities, including recreational activities. Reconfigurement is a book that contains various financial advice for retirees, including savings and investment plans. The main emphasis of the book is geared towards helping retirees and potential retirees gain financial freedom, live an enjoyable life after retirement, and also create a good life for their families, spouses, and children.
One of the things I liked about this book is how the writer is able to make such a serious subject funny. He incorporates humor into his writing and somehow makes the topic interesting for readers. It was really surprising and at the same time intriguing to find out that the book, which I picked up to read with so much seriousness, contained so much comedy in between. I believe most people see the subject of finance and retirement as a very serious life topic, but here’s one book about that topic that makes you feel like finance and retirement are not the end of the world. The author did a great job on that.
There is nothing I did not like about this book. Absolutely nothing. Usually, most people would think making jokes in a book like this would be a big distraction, but fortunately, it wasn’t a distraction in this book because the author was able to critically deal with the topic as well. The research work was neatly done, and his statistical references were good and precise too.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This is because the book was professionally edited. I did not find any spelling errors while reading this book. Some of the contents in the book were properly referenced, and the data were presented as accurately as possible to help readers understand better. The author did an excellent job.
I highly recommend this book for financial workers and financial advisors that deal with retired clients, and for retirees and employees who are looking to have a great time and also make better financial decisions before and after retirement, all while having a good laugh in between pages and chapters. I also recommend this book for couples who would love to make some critical financial decisions that will improve their financial stability as they grow older, all while having a good laugh as well.
