The book Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C, educates readers on the contemporary healthcare system and how to get top-notch medical care. Regis is a healthcare professional who is undergoing cancer treatment. The author comes from a long line of family-oriented medical practitioners. By constructing a tale about her background, the author illustrates the considerable difference between the excellent standard of healthcare of the 1990s and our contemporary generation. Examples from the book demonstrate how crucial it is for patients to be well-informed when addressing their issues: selecting health insurance policies, selecting healthcare providers, gaining the skills necessary to be a strong advocate for healthcare information, and making decisions as either patients or caregivers. Get a copy of this book if you want to learn more about the concrete steps we can take to take care of our health.

I enjoyed and learned a lot from this book. In this work, the author has a remarkably unique writing style. Knowing that some medical professionals continue to have their patients' best interests in mind is enlightening. My understanding of the complexities of healthcare in its corporate form improved after reading this book. There are a few things that have caught my attention, like the author's connection to her patients. She supports care that is built on relationships. She explains the history of the healthcare business, including how her grandfather began it and how her family has continued to run it.

The author's presentation of each topic covered in this book is quite well done, and I appreciate that. It made me realize that health is a valuable asset that we often fail to recognize or value until it has been completely exhausted. I learned the value of taking quick action when a medical problem arises from this book. The author's description of herself, her family, and her upbringing is wonderful.

The placement of the photographs within the text rather than towards the conclusion of the book was the only aspect of the book that I did not enjoy. Reading and viewing images occasionally can be entertaining. Additionally, I found a few errors in the book, but not enough to take away a star from the rating because I still find the book to be engaging. The book has been professionally edited. I must congratulate both the author and the editor for a job well done and for only identifying a few errors in the book.

I would rate this book five out of five stars. because it has given me a wealth of knowledge about how to live a life that is fulfilling and how to take care of my health. Both doctors and people with medical problems should read this book.
