Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is a non-fiction book the author intended to use to share her knowledge in the healthcare business as a provider before things changed and she became a patient in the process. She became a cancer patient as she watched a growth growing in her right arm. When she was a provider, she had a patient with the same issue and referred him to the Skin and Cancer Center of Arizona. Regis discusses tips for helping people survive the healthcare business since she has been in the business for 20 years. She discussed her childhood events that influenced her decision to join the healthcare business. Given how bad the state of healthcare is nowadays, she talks of ways of helping patients make the right decisions for themselves and their families. This book aims to educate and empower people both in the healthcare business and patients.

I liked the kind of information the book contains. Healthcare is a topic that touches everyone since everyone's well-being is important. I liked the author's dedication and desire to help others have better health by educating them on ways to make better decisions about their health. It was educative to people in the healthcare business so that they would help their patients as well as help themselves. Regis became a patient while she was writing this book and had to learn some things that would help patients. She wasn't mean she shared that information in this book to help other patients, even cancer patients. She states the importance of medical insurance to patients and how it helps cut costs when acquiring medical services. Many people reading the book are not skilled in medical studies, so Regis didn't use medical language to help them as well.

The information this book contains helps everyone, and its presentation was great; hence, I didn't find anything to dislike.

I rate Surviving the Business of Healthcare by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C five out of five stars. I did not find any errors in the book since it was exceptionally well-edited. The book empowers patients to make better decisions so that caregivers may not mistreat them. The author teaches them how to make the right decisions about their health and their loved ones. The information was presented with simpler language since the author didn't use medical terms, ensuring it helps everyone. Every aspect was great; hence, I gave it a perfect rating.

I recommend this book to caregivers and patients. It helps both caregivers and patients in many ways. It helps caregivers survive the healthcare business, and patients get better services and make better decisions.
