There are people for whom sailing and traveling have become a passion. That's no different for Tina Dreffin, an accomplished travel writer and motivational speaker who turned her love for sailing and traveling into an amazing memoir.

Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa is a nonfiction memoir written by Tina Dreffin that details the account of many of her travel experiences, including her visit to South Africa. This book contains much information about the author's life. She shares an experience of being sexually assaulted and subsequently leaving her hometown. In many of her travels, she meets Peter, and they both get married and have two sons. On her inspirational account of Africa, which was the main focus of the book. She goes on the journey with her two sons, Adam and Warren, their two friends, Sam and Gary, and her husband, Peter. Their journey is met with deadly sea waves and great danger. The author also narrates the fear she and her family faced in a crime-ridden place.

I started this book with great optimism, but so many factors quenched that feeling. I would be remiss not to mention that the first three chapters of this book were boring for me; it took me a long time before I could get into the plot. There were so many errors in this book that, to some extent, they became appalling. This book was professionally edited.

I loved the way family photos were added to this memoir; it made me relate to the whole story. It had its flaws, but this book is one of the most interesting memoirs you can find. Although errors and poor narration might have imperfected it, it's still one of the best nonfiction books I know. Another positive aspect I had for this book was how educational it was and how limited its exaggeration was; obviously, the author kept everything to a minimum, and that's what made it interesting. A minor like for me was the cover of this book; it was very attractive, and I liked that.

I will give Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. I deducted a star because the book didn't seem perfect, and I think a few changes to this book will make it a more enjoyable read for the public.

I will recommend Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa to anyone who loves nonfiction books, sailing adventures, and international trips. These books will be a fantastic read for them.
