Review of Fear Not, Dream Big, & Execute
Are there reasons why dreams don't materialize? Everyone on the planet is entitled to dream big, no matter how unrealistic those dreams are. But there are major obstacles that could hinder one's dream. In his inspirational masterclass book, Jeff Meyer talked about every obstacle one could face in pursuit of his or her dream. While their failure to fulfill their dreams doesn't come from the fact that they failed but is a product of how they allowed fear to eat them up, the author in this book gave a precise accounting, for which he sometimes referred to the Bible.
Fear Not, Dream Big, and Execute: Tools to Spark Your Dream and Ignite Your Follow-Through written by Jeff Meyer, a self-help book with no less than 60 lessons incorporated in it, the author entails the need to dream big but not let your dream die because of failure. He uses the Bible as his reference point throughout this book. The author analyzed, step by step, the biggest obstacles that can kill a dream, such as fear and procrastination. For the former, he told the readers how they can deal with it; fear, as he addressed, could be killed if only we could not fear. In the second part of the book, he talked about realization and actualization; in this course, he gives ideas on how to fulfill those dreams.
The positive aspect of this book was how the author ended every lesson with a question, giving the readers something to ponder on. He also wrote each lesson in this book independently from others and, at the same time, made his writing pattern very simple and objective. Another thing I liked about this book was the title. I believed it was very captivating and interesting. Seeing this book on a shelf without knowing the genre or description of this book, I think I will pick it up first. The author made me believe so much, not only in the word "dream," but in the fulfillment of that dream. Another major like for me was how this book focused on motivating its readers, from the fight against procrastination to the fight against fear, and finally to the fight of actualizing those dreams.
There weren't any negative aspects for me to write about; whenever I try to think of what the author got wrong, I end up praising the book instead. This book was exceptionally edited, as I found no errors or typos.
I will rate Fear Not, Dream Big, and Execute: Tools to Spark Your Dream and Ignite Your Follow-Through 5 out of 5 stars. This is the wake-up call that so many people in our society need.
I do recommend Fear Not, Dream Big, and Execute: Tools to Spark Your Dream and Ignite Your Follow-Through to dreamers and ambitious individuals. I think this book will be a great deal for them, as it will guide them on how to fulfill their dreams.
