Reconfigurement dishes out some much need timely advice to both young individuals and the mature investor who speculate on living their best life, while still trying to put contingencies in place for what lies ahead. For those seeking to find fulfillment in recognizing their true potential as they live, work, save, invest, and build to meet current and future need. E. Alan Fleischauer not only sufficiently breaks down some of the more difficult financial planning decisions we as individuals may have to make in our lives, but he also seeks to explain how some of these work to our benefit. He is very fair in his breakdown as he not only states the advantages but informs you if there are any disadvantages or drawbacks in the investment. Tackling topics such as insurance and its purposes to how the 401k works and IRA investments. There is a great amount of sound advice for each age group and maturity level guaranteed to meet the reader wherever they are in their level of need in their stage in life.
The positive to this book is that it provides sound financial advice in layman terms backed by references and links that the reader can easily utilize to confirm or reject the theories being presented, I really cannot say that there are any negatives to the information being presented as Fleischauer ensures to give sufficient back up reading for those wanting to learn more on the topic being discussed.
I rate this book 3 out of 4 and 4 out of 5. I rated the book a four, as I found it very informative and engaging. I did indeed stop this book to participate in some of the personality test and online surveys it recommended. I would also recommend this book to persons 18 and over or for any person entering the world of work seeking advice on how to plan their future alternatively, persons who have been in the world of work and struggling to find fulfillment in their daily lives and to those who are unsure about what their future may hold for them financially.
