Fourth-generation physician assistant Barbara Galutia Regis specializes in family medicine. She was raised in a home where practicing medicine was necessary to put food on the table, which, in my opinion, helped to mold her into the provider she eventually became. She was a skilled pianist and music teacher who had something going for her before switching to medicine in her early 30s. Just as she was finishing her book, she received a melanoma cancer diagnosis, which less than 2% of people have a chance of developing. Her melanomas were amelanotic nodular melanomas, an uncommon type. This rare subtype of melanoma cancer is extremely rare.

A very informative book, Surviving the Business of Healthcare covers a variety of topics that have an impact on healthcare, including insurance, prescription drugs, and the mistreatment of elderly patients by healthcare professionals and the facilities they work in. The major goal of Barbara Galutia Regis's book is to arm the readers with knowledge so they can choose better healthcare options for themselves and their loved ones.

You'll certainly gain a lot from the advice she provides at the end of each chapter, which covers various concerns facing the healthcare sector. The book is eye-opening because it reveals how the powerful have turned the healthcare sector into a foundation for making money rather than saving lives.
I adore how she uses the experiences of her patients to illustrate her points of view in each chapter. This is because these tales make it simpler to comprehend the context of her message. The book's brief chapters, which don't take much time to read through, are another aspect I admire.

The book has no drawbacks because the author has made sure that all the information presented in this book is significant and valuable to all the players in the healthcare sector.
I gave this book a score of 5 out of 5 stars because I saw no grammatical problems, which indicates that it has been professionally edited. I gave it such a great grade because I think it's important to review the content in this book.

Anyone concerned about their own or their loved ones' health should read this book, in my opinion. I would also suggest it to medical students who hope to work as healthcare professionals in the future. Barbara Galutia Regis has a lot of wisdom to impart to us, so pay attention to her.
