The Misoji Method:The Way To Achieve Lasting Happiness And Success by Jodi B. Miller is a nonfiction novel. The book focuses on how practicing Misoji can help you achieve success and happiness. Misoji is a Japanese Shinto practice. It means washing the entire body to purify one's self.Traditional Misoji is done by standing under an extremely cold waterfall. This practice has taken on a modern form and is now performed by doing a personal challenge that is way outside of your comfort zone. The text seeks to show how this practice can be beneficial to your life. This is achieved by sharing the success stories of others. In each chapter of the novel, Miller explains how this practice can help with different personal issues that may be affecting your growth. The chapters seek to get readers to search themselves and ask and answer some difficult questions. The author also provides the rules of modern-day Misoji just in case you are interested.

I love how honest the text is. It discusses painful relationships and self-sabotage.This book helped me to face my demons. I felt like Miller was standing behind me cheering me on ever step of the way.She made it easy for me to confront myself by simplifying the approach to uncomfortable topics. The text is very conversational, and this is what I love the most about it. I like the self-growth exercises.I am particularly fond of the deconditioning exercises. The note sections provided is another thing that I love. The arrangement of the text is lovely as well. I appreciate how the author slowly gets into difficult topics and then explains how practicing Misoji can help. The quotes throughout the book are indeed inspiring.

There is nothing that I dislike about this book. The novel is a wonderful self-help book. So many people are struggling to overcome some personal hurdles, and this book is truly a help mate. The text is conversational and practical. Misoji seems to be a practice that can truly help persons to bury demons and reap success. I love this text.

I rate this book 5 out of 5. The information provided is practical and relevant. So many people including myself as been struggling with issues that may be remedied by the information in this book. The author thoroughly explains the method. This makes it easy for any reader to apply it to their lives.

I recommend this book to anyone who is struggling to find true happiness and success. If you are looking for something to guide you along your journey and help you discover the root cause of your unhappiness then I recommend this book to you.Read the book, do the exercises, apply the practice to your life then watch what happens.
