Phobia Relief by Kalliope Barlis is a non-fiction novel that talks about how to overcome irrational fears and gain more freedom. The book is geared towards helping people shrink their fear so they can live a more fulfilled life.

The author is an expert in Phobia Relief and Neuro-linguistic programming. She is a practicing Licensed Trainer of NLP who has over two million views on her TEDx talk. This book has eleven chapters and it is divided into three parts.

I enjoyed reading this book because it is informative. It is a step-by-step guide on how to overcome irrational fear or phobia. It lays more emphasis on fear and provides solutions on how to shrink your fear and let go of them so you can live your best life. This book helps you change how you think. Changing how you think makes your phobia appear smaller and easier to overcome. This book gives a step-by-step strategy on how to let go of your unreasonable fears. It helps you realize that you always have a choice to make your life better than it was. This book is educative and encouraging. It teaches you that fear is just a lame excuse for not doing what you are meant to be doing.

I feel the author did a very good job with this book. One thing I like about this book is that all the chapters were worth reading. At the end of most chapters, there are Practical exercises that guide you and help you combat your fears in other to live a better life. I also enjoy the examples given by the author about her clients session and how it went. It made me feel like I was receiving advice directly from the author. I learned a lot while reading this book. This book made me realize that some fear or phobia is not worth it. It helped me change my fear into freedom. The author's choice of words in this book is easy to understand. At the end of the book, you can also reach out to the author for help as some of her personal information is available.

Overall, I didn’t find anything to dislike about this book. This book was exceptionally well edited.

Phobia Relief by Kalliope Barlis deserves five out of five stars because it is an excellent book that provides solutions to people, helps them shrink their fears, encourages them to live a better life and plan for the future. This book also changes one's mindset and channels their energy into something better and fulfilling than living in fear. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to fight irrational fears and gain freedom.
