A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an interesting nonfiction memoir that discusses the author's life experiences, struggles, and accomplishments. The author was an activist, diplomat, and scientist. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born in Aïn Beïda, Constantine and raised in a Muslim household. His mother and father both practiced Islam. His father died when he was still young. The author starts out by talking about his upbringing and his experiences in school. Ghoulem was a doctor who was also a revolutionary ambassador, a freedom warrior, and a mediator. French colonial rule existed in Algeria. For the welfare of his people, he desired Algeria's emancipation from French domination. He collaborated with others who were equally committed to the abolition of Algerian colonialism. In addition, he was studying medicine in France at the time, but eventually became a peace activist. For the welfare of his people, he desired Algeria's emancipation from French domination. In terms of reverse transcriptase enzymes, Ghoulem was the first scientist to formulate a theory.

The positives of this book are numerous. I appreciated reading about colonialism and how the author fought valiantly for Algeria's independence. I appreciate the writing style used in this book. The author provided a thorough overview of his experiences in life. I admire the author's tenacity in standing up for what is right. He endured great hardship to ensure the liberation of his nation. This book has plenty of valuable teachings. I gained knowledge about effective leadership. While carrying out his responsibilities as a leader, Berrah was detained and charged. I also discovered that I shouldn't confine myself to my potential.

There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and interesting to read. This book's images appear to be a good idea and a decent illustration of the message the author is attempting to convey. Although I thought the book was unnecessarily long and some vocabulary was challenging to pronounce, I cannot take away a star because it did not hinder my reading comprehension. Apart from that, it was an engaging memoir to read that held my attention the entire time.

I am rating this book A Dream for Peace 5 out of 5 stars because it is a fascinating book to read and I enjoyed every aspect of it. I encountered a few errors in the book. However, that did not stop me from reading it. The book was professionally edited. I am glad I came across such a thoughtfully provocative book with essential information.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in African history, politics, or colonialism.
