Review of The Biblical Clock
Do you think hope is enough to save a nation? Have you ever sat down and questioned your existence? The Biblical Clock: The Untold Secrets Linking The Universe And Humanity With God's Plan by Daniel Friedmann with Dania Sheldon is a book that talks about the array of the universe alongside the resolution between science and the scripture. It is steeped in the themes of doubt, humanity, and science.
This 241-page book is highly organized. It is composed of twelve chapters which are further partitioned into three parts. The book contains the findings that were made by the authors regarding the controversy between the scripture and science. The first part of the book, titled Beginnings and Timelines, begins with the siege of Acre to introduce Isaac Ben Samuel, a visionary sage who was well-advanced in deciphering the mysteries of the scripture. The second part is titled Endings and discusses the end of days and several tries to pinpoint the precise date it will occur. The last piece, titled Beyond the Timelines, gives a vast narrative of the creation story and its relation to the End of Days. What is the divine plan? Read up to find out.
The authors delivered a thought-provoking book that gives the reader a deeper reflection on their existence. Every aspect of the book shows the effort and the hard work that the authors put into the discovery made and ensures the reader is not lost in the tremendous knowledge being revealed. Images were used in the book to give more depth to the information being passed.
One of the things I love about this book is the simplicity of the authors and their consideration of the reader's understanding. Even though the book talks about findings that are beyond me, I was still able to understand the complexity of the universe being explained because of the manner of delivery. The authors took ample time to simplify the book's contents and prepare the reader's mind for what they are about to realize. This got me through the reading process because I already had an inkling of the vital knowledge each chapter was passing across. It was also interesting to read about individuals who played a part in the discovery identified in this book, such as Rabbi Chaim Vital, Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki, etc. My favorite aspect of the book was reading about how the jean factory could make jeans look old despite being new.
There is nothing I dislike about this book. While reading the book, I came across an error, and I was impressed at how professionally edited the book was. You get this when you read a book by a professional writer and editor. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because it centers on a complex subject matter that concerns everyone but was simply delivered. I am also motivated to give it this rating because it is informative.
In conclusion, I recommend this book to scientists, religious scholars, and readers who are curious enough to know the mystery of the existence of life on earth.
