Review of Reconfigurement
Reconfigurement by E. Alan Fleischauer, a nonfiction self-help book, is a humorous manual intended to save its readers from a boring, labor-intensive retirement. The author developed the idea of restructuring financial planning after doing extensive study on books that address both the side of retirement where people are less focused on the numbers and the other side that places a major emphasis on numbers and planning. This idea addresses the retirement-equation debate from both sides and instructs readers on how to redesign their lives at any point and make long-term plans. The author believes that the traditional, numbers-based approach to determining a client's potential to retire is outdated and requires a reevaluation in which it will be supplemented with employment and other techniques that are appropriate for our contemporary reality.
What I liked about this book is that the author begins by outlining retirement planning strategies and offering an illustration for each one. It ensured that the reader would be able to comprehend how the procedure operated. At the end of this book, the author lists additional books and other sources that contain information on financial planning. It helps provide additional information regarding retirement planning that the author might not have provided in the book, which is why I appreciated it. I also appreciated how the author compiled all the answers to common questions regarding money and retirement in a single volume. This book is very educational and provides clear instructions on how to rearrange your life, along with a wealth of inspiring arguments for why you should do it right away.
There was nothing that I disliked about the book; it was well-written and informative to read. I liked the way the chapters in this book were split up. Each of the thirteen chapters dealt with a distinct subject. I thought it was excellent how each chapter got right to the point without providing any extra details that were unrelated to the idea being presented. Every chapter contained puns and jokes that the author threw in at random, which I thought to be really enjoyable.
I enjoyed the extensive tests and questions offered at the book's conclusion since they were insightful, thought-provoking, and entertaining. I am glad that I came across such a great book. There were no grammatical errors or mistakes in it; therefore, it was exceptionally well edited. As a result, I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to people interested in planning their retirement and reconfiguring their lives.
