Review of A Dream For Peace
Fear and dreams are inseparable, and the realization of any dream is dependent on your ability to completely eliminate fear. The book A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was very outstanding as it tells the story of an activist whose dream was beyond his circle; he had a dream that was on an international scale. The pressure was great on him. But it was Dr. Ghoulem's optimism in the creation of a new nation that kept him going.
We all have someone we adore and who has always supported our ambitions. In the life of Dr. Ghoulem, it was his mother. The death of his mother took on a different twist as he had left everything and was returning home to pay his last respects. The beginning of the Algerian revolution on November 1st recorded a lot of events. News about the political activism going on in France got to his uncles. Despite the negative comments, Dr. Ghoulem was focused on the goal, which was achieving a peaceful and independent Algeria. The vote for a strike, which Dr. Ghoulem was against, was a major turnaround in the fight for independence. How dire were the consequences of this strike, and how was the leader able to manage it?
This book was rated 5 out of 5 stars for its uniqueness and development. An outstanding aspect of Dr. Ghoulem's life that awed me was his ability to strike a balance in his life. It seems almost impossible, but his level of intelligence was something different. In such a fight for freedom, you must be able to accommodate, endure, and tolerate because it is a fight that brings people with different views and ideas, and it only takes an exceptional leader like Dr. Ghoulem to be able to manage them rightly. This book. I also enjoy reading about Professor Mandouze and the role he played in the struggle for Algerian independence. The title of this book perfectly suited the content, and it was so catchy.
This book was an engrossing read, and it triggers the consciousness of being an agent of change in a place where it is needed. There was only one error I noticed while reading and a few blank pages. Finally, the writing was small and ill-fitting. However, these were minor challenges that were not enough to take away any stars.
We live in a world of constant political change, and this book emphasizes the importance of being an activist for positive change. I strongly recommend this book to lovers of memoir and books on politics.
