Review of Surviving the Business of Healthcare
[Following is a volunteer review of "Surviving the Business of Healthcare" by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C.]
Because it affects how long you live, health is an essential part of life. Everyone aspires to have the longest possible life. Its importance is what makes healthcare so delicate, expensive, and important. How to understand health care is thoroughly explained in this book. Surviving the Business of Healthcare: Knowledge is Power in the Healthcare Industry: Surviving Barbara Galutia Regis, M.S., PA-C, is a medical assistant with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She is the author of the book, "A Unique Perspective from a 4th Generation Family Practice Provider and Now Cancer Patient." Barbara Galutia Regis had positions as a teacher and pianist before opting to pursue a career in medicine.
The author describes her professional experiences in the medical industry, including the challenges she faced. Her father worked as a doctor who provided care for others. She underlines that medical practitioners are not compelled to conduct their enterprises at the expense of their patients' financial security. She speaks with some of her patients about her affiliations in the workplace. From her experiences as a cancer patient, a physician assistant, and a member of a medical family, the author's viewpoint is derived. I have learned invaluable facts about healthcare and how the medical industry functions thanks to this book. I also gained knowledge about what to anticipate and how to behave in certain scenarios. The author tried her best to make this book understandable for readers by using real-life examples and non-medical vocabulary. This book is educational, and the title accurately describes what's inside. This book is insightful, and I learned about the various departments and branches of healthcare and how they operate.
Nothing about the book bothered me. The text in this book is well written. It was informative and descriptive; therefore, I would describe the editing as exceptional, and I applaud the editor.
I give Surviving the Business of Healthcare a score of 4 out of 4 stars. The book was educational. It did not contain any grammatical errors or typos. This makes it deserving of the ranking.
I suggest this book to anyone interested in learning more about healthcare processes, insurance, and how to maximize it. Because it describes what to anticipate during treatments, I also suggest it to others who struggle with health difficulties.
