Review of Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress
Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress by Gustavo Kinrys, MD is a book that combines herbal remedies and modern natural supplements to treat the symptoms of anxiety and depression. The non-fiction book discusses stress and anxiety as well as methods for reducing them.
The book serves as a manual that walks readers through a variety of options for reducing the signs and symptoms of stress and anxiety. Different vitamins, nutrients, and herbs that are helpful for treating different types of illnesses were included in the book by the author. There were many options in the book for readers to select from. For those who would rather try a natural remedy than explore conventional treatments, the book contains information that is backed by medical research. After discussing stress and anxiety as a whole, the author continued by discussing the various mental effects of stress and anxiety if they are not promptly addressed. The author of this book first discussed the various herbs before moving on to discuss how to use them effectively and the right dosages.
I enjoyed reading this book. There are many things about this book that I like. I liked how the author talked about diet in detail. The author provided a list of food that, depending on the issues you're having, you should eat more of. Additionally, the author provided a list of food to stay away from. I appreciated how the author also highlighted a variety of additional practice including exercise, mindfulness, and meditation that lessens the suffering brought on by stress and worry. The author not only provided a variety of options for readers to pick from, but he also thoroughly explained most of them. It was an excellent book to read.
I found no negatives to this book. I found it particularly useful that there are tables in the appendix that provide a brief summary of all the techniques, medications, and therapies addressed. I also appreciated the author's decision to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the advice he provided in the book rather than attempting to conceal it. However, rather than reading like a manual, this book reads more like a psychology textbook, which I didn’t like. Despite the idea that the book's focus should exclusively be on natural therapies, it also discussed medications. However, this is not enough to remove a star from the book's rating as I enjoyed every other aspect of the book.
I detected no errors in Natural Relief for Anxiety and Stress which speaks highly of the editing, indicating that it had been exceptionally well-edited. The book was well-written and used simple language by the author. Additionally, it had a perfect structure with interesting content. Therefore, I give this book a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.
I recommend this book to everyone who is experiencing anxiety. This book will present to them a number of ways to solve their anxiety problems.
