Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a memoir that describes the author's life. This book discussed both the author's success and the difficulties he encountered while trying to secure Algeria's independence from French authority. The book is a memoir that tells the author's experiences and accomplishments in the form of a historical account. Marriage, patriotism, determination, sacrifice, conflict, and religion were all among the themes explored.
Dr. Ghoulem Berrah began this book by telling the tale of how he came to be a political ambassador from his humble beginnings as an Algerian child. Despite being a medical student, he became interested in activism in the struggle to free Algeria from French rule. Before gaining their independence, Algeria and many other African nations, including Morocco, suffered at the hands of their colonial overlords. A few of the leaders that ruled differently and put the needs of the people first were named by Dr. Ghoulem. When these leaders pass away, their successors truncate all the excellent deeds they accomplished while in office as well as all the wonderful intentions and improvements they made to the nation.
This book was well-written, in my opinion. I also find the book to have a lot of good quality. The author's unwavering and exceptional tenacity is one of the book's great aspects. His lifestyle is one worth emulating. Aside from being an outstanding student at college, he was a devoted husband. He was a diligent worker who contributed greatly to his country. He believed that he could improve the world for his people. I especially appreciated the author's suggestions for potential solutions to the problem of Islamic sect-related terrorism. His way of life is also admirable, particularly for young people who want to do their best for their country. It was a great read.
There is absolutely nothing about this book that I dislike. I like the fact that the author was able to lead an influential life that future generations will benefit from. His way of life and the sacrifices he made can serve as a sufficient example for future generations to follow when making important decisions. Ghoulem set a good example for what a leader should be like through his involvement in diplomatic missions, highly classified presidential tasks, discussions with militants to settle political disputes, and his work building cathedrals and mosques as well as promoting peace.
The writing in A Dream For Peace is excellent, and the diction is simple to understand. I found no mistakes in the book, indicating that it had been exceptionally edited. For these and other reasons, I give this book a rating of four out of four stars.
I recommend this book to those who enjoy reading memoirs and books about patriotism. I also recommend this book to readers who desire to do their best for their nation. They will learn something from the author’s experience.
