Review of A Dream For Peace
We all know the stories of some great men who brought freedom to their countries and societies. The likes of Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. are examples of such men. This book, A Dream For Peace, by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is another memoir of the author and his mandate to restore peace and freedom to his country. I picked up this great memoir and I really enjoyed it.
The author, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is just another example of a very good patriot.
This book is a detailed story of the author and his quest for peace. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah was born in Algeria, an African country, in a small town. He came from a polygamous family. Right before he was born, his hometown had many challenges at that time. They were also under the rule of their French colonial masters. Dr. Ghoulem really tried to fight against it and set them free. He had a loving mother, who was strict and valued her son's education a lot. The French language was compulsory in their educational scheme. The author wasn't really happy with the study of a foreign language in his country, and he did his best to fight against that. There was an incident at the graduation ceremony that really fueled anti-colonial protests in his community. His dream got him into a lot of trouble, including getting him arrested for no just cause. The scholarship he was given tried to be a distraction, but he still fought for his people. Will he succeed? I suggest you get a copy and find out for yourself.
This book caught my attention in all aspects. I enjoyed the book. The author's zeal, courage, and commitment were top-notch. The author was very brave, and this bravery made him go through thick and thin, but he was still able to focus and achieve his positive result. He became famous for his mandate and had to meet with great men of valor. He had the opportunity to dine and drink with other world leaders. He had great achievements, which I admired. His being the first person to discover a hypothesis that was later identified by the Reverse Transcriptase Enzyme is what I would like to emulate. In all, Dr. Ghoulem is a man to be emulated.
There was nothing much to dislike about this book except the abbreviations, which I found very complex for my reading comprehension. That was all I didn't like.
I found no errors in this book, and the writing style was perfect. With what I said, I'd like to give A Dream For Peace 4 out of 4 stars, and I'll do this without any second thought. The book's editing was top-notch too.
I recommend this unique book to lovers of freedom. If you have a God-given mandate and you don't know how to go about it, I recommend this book to you.
