Have you pondered upon the thought of retirement? Have you ever sat back and planned how to save for your retirement or how much it would take for you to reach a substantial amount for you to live a comfortable life? Author E.Alan Fleischauer has written a phenomenal novel that surrounds the topic of retirement. It is an insight into a financial advisor's views on retirement and the experiences that he has faced during his career. He explains how the majority of Americans have to work past the normal retirement age of 65 to secure a good life after retirement and goes on to compare the lifespan of individuals that lived in the 1930s to those now and has come to the conclusion that due to the advancement of medicine and technology people can now live longer. He stresses the need to plan as the average American works more than 90 000 hours towards retirement to ensure that after retiring they will lead a comfortable lifestyle.

The writer opens our eyes to see that we need to sit back and think about how the decisions we make today impact our lives at a later stage and how a little planning can prove to be quite beneficial at a later stage. One of the things that I relished about the book was the fact that he used statistics and compares different lifestyles, religions and eras to put a point across. In this way, he targets all races and creeds without discrimination.

I honestly do not have anything negative to say about this novel. The novel was well-researched and it was a novel that I enjoyed despite it being non-fiction.

Reconfigurementis a novel that I would rate 4 out of 4 . This novel was thoroughly edited thus showing professionalism throughout the novel.

If you are one of those many readers out there looking for non-fiction that is quite engaging to its audience, I would strongly recommend reading this novel from start to end.
