Review of A Dream For Peace
Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is the author of the nonfiction book, A Dream for Peace. This story is told from the first-person perspective. The author's life is referenced in the dialogue and events. In this autobiography, you will learn how Dr. Ghoulem Berrah assisted African nations in developing, gaining independence, and exercising their sovereignty. There are 644 pages and 17 chapters in the book.
The themes in Dr. Ghoulem's book include leadership, love, religion, war, and peace, among many other intriguing topics. The protagonist, who is also the author, is a Muslim who grew up in Aïn Beïda, a small town in northeastern Algeria. The author grew up in a religious, morally upright, and traditional family and became a disciplined philanthropist. Dr. Ghoulem's master's degree in biology and a Ph.D. aid his academic qualification in becoming a special advisor to the president of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire, Félix Houphouët-Boigny. He was able to gain political awareness during his early days in medical school, which exposed him to a variety of political activities.
I discovered a lot of subjects in Dr. Ghoulem Berrah's book that I believe had a positive impact on me. It's an engrossing novel. He's got leadership skills. I appreciated the character attributes the protagonist demonstrated since they were motivating and instructive. I love the author's writing style since it is descriptive and makes the book easy to understand. I aspire to many of the traits of the author who plays the protagonist, but what I admired most about him was how he used dialogue to resolve conflicts and put an end to interstate wars. In his efforts to bring peace to the African nation of Côte d'Ivoire, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah displayed courage and determination that I much appreciated. He was a passionate Muslim who put his life in danger for a good cause.
Given all the positive aspects I listed above, I was able to find a single fault in this book. There are a few grammatical errors, but I will not deduct a mark for this because of the book's exceptional editing. I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars because I found the book insightful, well-edited, and comprehensive.
For those who are interested in the diplomatic history of Africa, those who also enjoy reading historical literature, and those who wish to learn the leadership qualities of Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, I would suggest you purchase a copy of this book, read it, and enjoy the loving moments of it.
