Reconfigurement reminds all readers about the importance of financial planning and offers an innovative and all-encompassing outlook on careers and life. One of the core themes of this book is that it’s never too late to reconsider your chosen career and pursue the life you want. All you need is sound financial planning, which can be achieved even if you are in your late 40s or 50s.

E. Alan Fleischauer delivers an informative book that aims to guide people in their careers and all their financial endeavours. I enjoyed that the book propelled the idea that age is no longer a factor that dictates the end of a career. People can now opt out of careers and pursue their dreams as long as they are mindful of their financial state. Reconfigurement also informs readers of what to consider and how to save up effectively for retirement. Fleischauer makes sure to give thorough explanations about important financial planning topics such as pension funds and what it means if you have one or don’t have one. The book gives a realistic account of the dilemmas that people are faced with, such as work-related injuries. Fleischauer implores readers to be mindful of statistics and highlights the importance of finding other work that can serve as an emergency career. I think the overall message of Reconfigurement is that it’s never too late to go after what you want most in life, and all you have to do is organise your life and financial affairs.

I think it is fair to say that I really enjoyed this book, and I can hardly think of any negative things to say about Reconfigurement except that it is a book that bases a lot of its content on the American financial system, so I could not benefit from some of the guidance that was given.

I really enjoyed this book and I found it to be very insightful. The overall message of the book is something I really appreciated, and I think many others will enjoy it as well. It was exceptionally well edited, and I, therefore, rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

Reconfigurement is a book that I think would appeal to a wide range of people, especially if they reside within America or are familiar with the American financial system. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is just starting their career or even those who are in their 40s or 50s and just looking for a change in career. I also think that people who have an interest in the American financial system will find the statistics in the book noteworthy.
