Review of The Warrior's Meditation
The Warrior’s Meditation by Richard L. Haight is a book that dives into the world of meditation and martial arts. It takes a well-planned course in meditation to achieve wellness.
This book is an introduction to the principles of meditation and all it entails; the book takes a step-to-step approach to shed light on the path of meditation. It creates a well-imbued explanation of the meditation portals and consciousness of each of our senses. The basic Total Embodiment Method (TEM) is being unraveled amongst spherical awareness. The Warrior’s Meditation is being explored with narrative to help piece it. The mindset for meditation is being freed and helps readers see what they must possess. The mental resistances hindering meditation were also discussed. The book does enable readers to be able to adapt it to their lives fully. The teachings are beneficial in overcoming perceptual bias; they also help in navigating through our emotions. In addition, the book teaches how to get the basics to ensure we practice a safer natural meditation. Read up to learn more about the fantastic world of meditation and the basics of the total embodiment method.
I admire how the title of the book helps readers navigate through the book. The teachings of the Total Embodiment Method are enthralling. It helps in dealing with day-to-day approaches and shares valuable insights on meditation and best-kept secrets. There is nothing I dislike in the book. I adore the author’s passion for the world of meditation, all encapsulated in this book.
The 230-page book has four parts and twenty-three-nerve-racking chapters; it is quite easy to understand. The teachings in this book are highly beneficial, and it has mind-bugging information without any confusion. The examples and narratives are very explanatory and easy to understand. Therefore, I rate The Warrior’s Meditation 4 out of 4 stars.
My favorite part of The Warrior’s Meditation was how the awareness paradox, and how the experiments reveal how aware we are. I felt my senses heightened during the experiments; It was very helpful. One thing I look for in a book is simplicity, and Richard L. Haight over-simplified the teachings using adequate narratives.
In conclusion, the book is professionally well edited, as I found only a few grammatical errors and incorrect tenses. I recommend the book to students of martial arts, dojos, and yoga class instructors from the ages of fifteen and above. Also, parents can read to their children to help them in meditation.
