Review of A Dream For Peace
A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a memoir of the author's life experiences. He is a scientist and a political activist. Berrah was determined to put an end to racial abuse and discrimination against blacks.
Berrah was born into a Muslim family in the province of Constantine, Algeria during the French colonial rule. Berrah's father, Hamedi Berrah, was a hunter who died when Berrah was still a child. Berrah's mother had to raise and care for him. Ghoulem Berrah was a smart and intelligent boy during his high school days. In his high school days, he was racially abused and discriminated against. After high school, he got a scholarship to study medicine at the University of Bordeaux, France. While at university, he was an active member of an association that fought against colonialism. Later on, he moved to America to continue his education, where he became a professor of science. Get this book to find out more about Ghoulem Berrah.
There are many positive aspects to this book. I enjoyed reading about colonialism and how the author struggled to fight for the independence of his country, Algeria. I love how the author wrote this book. The author gave a detailed account of his life experiences. I love the author's perseverance in fighting for what is right. He went through hell to make sure his country was liberated. There are a lot of lessons to learn from this book. I learned about good leadership. Berrah was arrested and prosecuted in the course of performing his duties as a leader. I also learned that I shouldn't limit myself to what I can achieve. Berrah was born in Algeria, but he always had a dream of achieving great things in life. Furthermore, I learned that there would always be challenges we would have to overcome in order to achieve our goals.
I found absolutely nothing wrong with this book. The book was perfectly written, and the author wrote this book with simple vocabulary. It is an inspirational and educational book. The author inspired me with his life story, and I feel motivated to take bold steps in life. Berrah's mom is an amazing woman. I love how she cared for Berrah. However, the issue of racial abuse and discrimination is still a significant matter in our society. People are still being abused and discriminated against. The right authorities should do something about this.
I rate this book four out of four stars. I found no errors in this book. This shows that it was exceptionally well-edited. I recommend this book to political activists.
