Some words seem common but have a lot of implications if neglected. Let's take, for instance, cooking a portion of food with an unbalanced proportion of ingredients. The food wouldn't be tasty because the ingredients were either overused or underused. Balance plays an important role in every human life. A God-Balanced Life by James E Puckett Sr. is a fascinating book that portrays the lifestyle of a balanced Christian.

I always thought that living a balanced lifestyle as a Christian entails being able to live 50% Godly and 50% worldly. It wasn't funny then until I got the truth about it. The author cited a scriptural quote that talked about being unequally yoked with unbelievers. He also gave an illustration of two unequally yoked animals working in the field. We saw that the work wasn't balanced. But when the two animals were equally yoked together, there was balance in there and both animals expended the same energy. I came to understand that a balanced Christian is 100% godly. Now the question is, how can a balanced Christian maintain a 100% godly life? What is expected of us? The rest of this book covers this aspect. Grab a copy to find out.

It seems to be difficult to change someone's ideas about a thing or concept. I have seen balance, specifically for Christians, in a very different way. I am easily persuaded for the first time after reading this book. The biblical references and his personal experience show what a balanced Christian should be like. I enjoyed the fact that the author touched on different pressing areas of Christian life. In this way, anyone who picks up this book wouldn't have many questions to ask because the book was so elaborate. I enjoyed the author's writing style. The use of simple words made it so easy for me to comprehend so quickly. I also enjoyed the illustrations the author used in this book and the biblical references.

There was nothing I disliked about this book. The book was mind-blowing and did not deviate from its intended purpose. I enjoyed the fact that the book was error-free. This shows the book was well-edited. I did not encounter any challenges while reading. All of these make this book unique.

I would recommend this book to Christians and lovers of Christian literature. Based on what has been said earlier, I would rate this book 4 out of 4 stars.

This description is a great way to demonstrate what you mean by balance! It is also an apt theme for this book, and I'm sure there are many ways to apply the concepts the author presents.

I think every Christian is guilty of this. We try to mix worldliness with spirituality. I’ll like to read this someday. Great review!
