The Biblical Clock by Daniel Friedmann and Dania Sheldon is a masterpiece that explains how science and religion are not very opposite as it is made out to be. It also shows how both concepts help in explaining each other. This book is mainly based on Jewish sources. Each chapter contains a particular topic that is well discussed and aids in explaining how science and religion complement each other. There are also topics regarding the origin of life and the end of days. There are also bits and pieces of history that add to the main story. Read this enlightening book to uncover more about the nexus between science and religion.

I love the layout of The Biblical Clock. The division of this book into two parts made the whole reading experience better. Each part had a separate theme. The first part answers questions that some scientists and scholars had asked or had been asked concerning the formation of the universe, while the second part explores the theory of the end of days. Most parts were non-fictional, with only a few parts being fictional, specifically the chapter about the end of days. These all add spice to this book and will be of great interest to the readers. The author's mode of explanation was better than what I had expected from a book discussing the connection between science and religion. The book also answered a lot of questions concerning the formation of the universe as well as other topics.

Regardless of the good job I believe the author did with the explanation of the concepts in this book, I believe there's room for improvement. Being a book with a complicated topic and controversial idea, I think some concepts in the book needed to be explained better. The authors should have shed more light on various issues, as I still found some parts a little confusing and complicated and couldn't fully understand them. A layperson who is not grounded in science and religion would not be able to pick up most of the points in this book.

I give this book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. It is an interesting read and has an insightful theme, no doubt, but better work should have been done on the explanation of concepts. That's the reason for the deducted star. The Biblical Clock was exceptionally well edited. I found no errors in it.

I recommend this book to those interested in apocalyptic books or other books of that sort. Those interested in science and religion should also read this book as it contains a lot they would like to know and learn about.
