Findin9 H2OM3 by Jameson B Grant is an inspirational book that looks into the life of James, who is described as a dreamer, religious and a hard worker.

The story begins with his immigrant mother, Elba, raising him in their newfound home, America. James goes through a lot of ups and downs in the book, which helps shape his character. Beginning with his fortunes, James is blessed with the opportunity to realise his dream of flying, as he is given the position of flight attendant for MGM Airlines. As a result, the position enabled James to meet a lot of famous people and, eventually, fly on Air Force One with Bill Clinton, the President of the United States at the time. James had lived through his wildest dreams and it seemed that his fortune would never run out. However, disaster struck, which forced James’ life to completely take a left turn. What caused this disaster? You’ll have to find out when you read the book. 

What I loved about the book was how James bounced back from being put down by life. As a fellow believer in God, I understand how life can be hurtful and it is difficult to find the light. However, James proved to me that getting back up, after you’ve been knocked down, is possible. Bad things do happen, but they don’t have to define us, or our lives. Therefore, I find great comfort in this book, since James recollects himself by deciding to further pursue his dreams in Hollywood. What I also admired about the book was how he continued to love God after his dilemma. It’s easy to blame God for the bad things that happen in our lives, so that we have someone to direct our anger towards. However, the reconciliation with God Almighty is the best thing about this book, since I’m a firm believer in God and strive towards building a long-lasting relationship with him. 

The fault I find in the book is the profanity that is used. I find it inappropriate to use profane language in a book that is, essentially, about God. Apart from that, I can’t fault the book.

The rating I give this book is three out of four stars. I didn’t give it a full four stars because of the profane language used in the book.

I recommend this book to teenagers and people who are regularly let down by life, since this book can offer the inspiration that they would need
