In Immigrant Hustle, Anime Rahal aims to prove that the American dream still exists. He aims to show it is possible for immigrants to achieve their dreams of financial freedom through hard-work and hustle, perseverance and determination. Rahal supports this believe by compiling interviews he collected from 50 entrepreneurs who immigrated to the US to better their lives. In the interviews, the entrepreneurs tell their stories, in their own words, giving the reader an intimate insight into their experiences and their character. As such, every entrepreneur's story carries its own tone.

As an entrepreneur and an immigrant to the US, Rahal has had similar experiences to those told in this book and can relate. He has first-hand insight into the struggles to fit in and adopt the American culture as told by the people featured in the book and as an entrepreneur, he is able to amass fellow business people, associates and organisation members.

Immigrant Hustle is enjoyable to read. With 50 different backgrounds and experiences, one cannot help but relate to some of the stories. The book includes advice for better integration in new found communities as well as organisations available for aspiring entrepreneurs. Rahal provides contact details for the featured entrepreneurs, giving readers a chance to reach out and connect and possibly find a mentor.

For this reason, I give the book a rating of 3 out of 4 stars. The book is informative and also inspirational especially to young and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to venture out on their own. By presenting the book as a compilation of stories, Rahal has allowed readers the chance to evaluate each entrepreneur and determine if they can work with them as mentors. However, with some entrepreneurs in the book, Rahal includes an introductory summary that is unnecessarily long since the same information is repeated in the stories.

This book resonates with anyone who wants to take a risk and leave their home and their comfort to venture out for a better life. It assures one that, in America, a better life is possible although one has to put in the effort. But importantly, this book appeals to aspiring business owners for its information on how to handle a start-up business and the players involved in the sector of interest.
