We are in a world full of many different elements and among them the heavy metals. Heavy metals are those dangerous elements surrounding us and affecting somehow our health. We find them nearly in all paths of our lives, from diet and some different items that we daily use, to the air that we breathe. This is what D. DAVID W.MELONEY talks about in his book called The heavy metal poisoning vs. your health.

Heavy metals are the cause or the emphasis of many diseases as well physically than mentally. But they are unknown to most people, and they're not well considered to be prevented or well treated. Thus, many people are killed by these causes, and some are even getting suicide because of non-assistance. But yet, it's not too late, many treatments, such as the chelation practice proposed by the author, are now available. The only need is to start being aware and concerned about those dangerous enemies.

The most interesting thing in this book is the fact that the author, very soon at the beginning of the book, takes time to deeply explain heavy metals, not just defining them, but such as to let the audience understand what they are, and why do we need to be aware of their presence. By doing so, he easily makes the reader flow throughout the book naturally and listens to where they come from, what they cause, how to be saved from them, and so on.

After making the reading natural and interesting, the author, unfortunately, failed to avoid the use of technical words and facts, because of going too deeply into details that might not be interesting or comprehensible to most of the readers. A relevant example of that is the use of the author's medical report, which contains too much medical stuff and is not useful for the readers.

I rate this book 3 out of 4, because it's a very good and interesting subject, and the author did well at transmitting greatly his message. I didn't find any errors, I do believe this book was exceptionally well edited. Only the extreme details added in, do not allow the book to perfection. Still, it's good, and more than that, it's helpful for healthcare, thus, I recommend it to people most concerned about all aspects of their health, and willing to handle everything.
