A Dream for Peace is an autobiography written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah. The author was a political diplomat when he was alive and has helped various African countries attain their independence. This book shows the struggles that Dr. Ghoulem Berrah had to go through in order to become a diplomat in order to help and protect the interests of his nation, Algeria, and the other African nations that were under colonial rule.

A Dream for Peace is an amazing memoir. It is hands down the best memoir I have ever read. This book is written in the first person perspective. The themes in this book were those of struggle and redemption. What I loved most about this amazing book was how detailed it was. Dr. Berrah takes us through his personal struggles and outlines his thoughts in a way that the readers can easily understand. The late author was an advocate for peace, unity, and love, and he spent the entirety of his life trying to share that with others. As an African, Dr. Berrah is an inspiration and has now become one of my personal heroes. I loved the inclusion of images in this book. I believe it makes this memoir more lively and acts as proof of his incredible story. His amazing relationship with his Christian wife and the Christian community is one of the reasons I adore Dr. Berrah.

There was nothing I disliked about A Dream for Peace. It was incredibly well written, free of typos, and had only a few grammatical errors that I could find. Some of the sentences in this memoir are written in languages other than English. I believe it increases the realism of the story, though some people might find it annoying. It was an amazing and intriguing read and a great autobiography of one of Africa’s most prominent diplomats.

I would rate A Dream for Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah four out of four stars. While I did find some grammatical errors, this book was generally error-free. It was professionally edited, free of typos, and had images that made the memoir better. I gave this book an excellent rating because I enjoyed reading it and it was both an inspirational and motivational story.

I would recommend A Dream for Peace to anyone who is interested in the colonial history of Africa. This would also be an amazing read for Afrocentrists and people who are interested in the past political dynamics of colonial Africa.
