Seeking... Finding... Healing... by Becky Lu Jackson is a book that guides people who have a difficult history unto self healing through meditation and Visualization.

What I find interesting about this book is it's practicality. The author was very practical about her write-up, using herself as the main example as well as other testimonies. The examples cited makes it believable that it's actually a method that works and that the author is near to her audience- the broken who need to be put back together.

Apart from the practicality of the book, another positive aspect I find about this book is the approach. Becky Lu Jackson did not use a method that looks outward. She used an approach that looks inward. The individual in need of healing doesn't have to go elsewhere to find healing; rather, he has to look within, accept the hurts of the past, be determined to make amends for a better present and future, and then look within to find the solution and healing he's been looking for.

What I didn't like about the book is that it made it seem as though it is possible to have a perfect life free because you can find a solution to all your problems just by meditating and visualizing. This might make one to hit rock bottom if they are met with a problem whose solution is far fetched from visualization.

I therefore rate this book at 3 out of 4.

I recommend this book for people who believe in the metaphysical. Ordinary people might not find it very helpful as well as Christians who believe in Jesus as their only source of healing and supreme authority.
