Fear Not, Dream Big & Execute is a Christian self-help book authored by Jeff Meyer. Using multiple scriptural references, words of encouragement, and interactive challenges at the end of each chapter, Jeff provides the reader with the tools necessary to access and fulfill their destiny. He describes it as a two-fold process involving discovering one's dream and then learning how to execute it.

The book has two sections, each subdivided into several smaller chapters. Part 1 targets people who have a gnawing feeling that they have some unique purpose on the Earth, which they have not discovered yet. The second part targets individuals who know their purpose but feel overwhelmed by the uncertainty of not knowing how to pursue it. Chapters may be read chronologically, but this is unnecessary; Jeff encourages readers to use the book as a reference, looking up chapters as they become relevant.

When I first picked this book up, I had assumed it was a general self-help book. I quickly realized that it is likely intended for a Christian audience. My appreciation of the book immediately grew because I believe that any of my efforts to better myself should stem from my core faith beliefs. I enjoyed the interactive exercises included at the end of each chapter. Fear Not is not just a book: it is a tool that enables individuals to take their futures into their own hands and effect lasting change. On the quest to find and accomplish one's dream, Jeff Meyer stresses a vital point. We are not called unto ourselves; in other words, our purpose is not self-serving. Our destinies lie in the service of others. In that vein, Jeff emphasizes the importance of approaching people within the context they live in: not as one who is superior or better, but as a partner who comes alongside. That message really resonated with me.

There is nothing I did not like about this book. It is professionally edited, with no discernible grammatical errors. The diction is simple, and the message captivating. Therefore, I would rate the book 4 out of 4 stars.

If you have an insatiable desire to fulfill your destiny but don't know how to, or don't have a concrete dream yet, Fear Not, Dream Big & Execute is for you. Though geared towards a Christian audience, I would recommend it to any adult trying to figure out their life's purpose.
