Review of A Dream For Peace
Sometimes, a person may experience many things in life, things that may seem difficult or almost impossible to experience because they may seem very extreme. In this book called A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, the author shares all the fantastic things that he did in various countries.
The author shares in his book that he was an activist during the struggle of the decolonization of Algeria. He also started a dialogue between Palestine and Israel during the struggle that they had. He also mentions that he was the first scientist to give a hypothesis on “Reverse Transcriptase Enzyme”. He also mentions that he has had close contact with important people such as John Kennedy, Yasser Arafat, Mao Zedong, and so forth. He also mentions that he has been married three times.
What I loved about this book was that the author always had one dream and that dream was to always bring peace everywhere he went. What I also admired about this book was that the author included pictures so that the readers will get more visual details of what he was talking about. As I read this book I became more and more fascinated about all the things that the character accomplished in his life. I really do not like reading historical books but I really enjoyed reading this one because it was very interesting. The author made me learn that you can accomplish anything that you want in life as long as you want to.
There is nothing that I disliked about the book. It was really interesting and what I liked the most was that the author wrote based on his own experiences. He also wrote about different religions and that is what made me fall in love with the book because it has always been my dream to learn about different religions, although people that do not believe in religions may feel left out. I did not find any grammatical errors therefore, I can safely say that this book was exceptionally edited. There was no profanity as well as explicit content that was present in the book.
Because of all the reasons that I have stated above, I would like to rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I highly recommend it to people who like to read about historical books as well as those who like to read about inspirational books. Students as well as researchers can use this book for assignments as reference.
