Elijah Oladimeji has uniquely compiled this book as he tells of the negative impacts poverty has on African life more especially on the spread of the gospel in Africa. The author gives insight into the realities faced by Christian church leaders particularly in Africa. He archived this with the aid of scenarios that help you see the picture of what is written and real statistical figures.Stephen Aganga usually referred to as the senior pastor has to juggle the dual life of being a wise household decision maker and being an effective overseerer of his Christian church members and he sure does display the qualities of good leadership.

I admire how the author constructed the most important message in all the gospel which is salvation and also in the same breathe the way to obtain it backed up with precise instructions from the Bible itself. The book is dominated by Bible references that correspond with the written content and the facts given do not interfere with the flow of the book. Not only does the author show us the fluctuations of the life of a Christian church leader but he makes the reader aware that even Christian leaders are vulnerable to the issues of everyday life.

I did not see the table of content, the topics of the book ahead at the the beginning of the book as I had expected to see neither are the topics numbered even though they are written in bold. The minor mistakes made actually disturbs the reader's reading flow. I would have appreciated the omission of the use of the native language even though the translations are included as this also disturbs the reading flow.I would also have appreciated the indication of the set up or location of the events as some seem random.

Despite the minor mistakes the book is a good one. I would rate this book 3 out of 4 stars as the written content relates to many if not all readers and the book is well structured. I would have rated the book 4 out of 4 stars but because of the few mistakes I rate it 3 out of 4.

I would recommend this book to people who have questions concerning the Christian religion as this book gives straight forward answers to common questions and them who are born again believers and are looking to grow their faith. This book is also suitable for the people who would like to lead a Christian congregation one day to help them become aware of the matters folks overlook when going into Christian ministry. This book is also a good source to aid Bible studying as it reveals thought provoking truths found in scripture, the Bible.
