Every society is largely guided and held together by its culture. Similarly, in the business world, culture is the pillar that defines the strength and success of every business. Starting a business and nurturing it to become a successful venture requires knowledge and skills in management and leadership. One of the profound accomplishments that any manager should aim for, should be creating and developing a healthy culture in their organization.

Anonymous Cultures, The Silent Majority by Paul R. Fournier, tends to focus on this often neglected and pertinent issue that can build a business with a competitive advantage. The author opines that in most business organizations, both the management team and the employees are indifferent to the essence of having and operating under a well-defined culture. Every time an employee relates with a customer, they reflect the business culture, and, how positive and healthy it functions determines the likelihood of being in business with that customer.

A well-functional and established business culture will build a good business foundation that will generate inimitable results and profits for the business. A business that envisions building a strong and competitive brand must incorporate and nurture a well-structured and organized culture. The author goes further to show the merits of good business culture, and how it will be of importance to all the parties at stake. This includes the shareholders, customers, employees, and all the other parties involved in business with the organization.

The book was very informative, insightful, and elucidated relevant business skills that were meticulously researched and explicitly expressed. I liked how the author included challenging questions that will help the reader to reflect on the skills learned and relate them to their business. I also liked how he creatively divided the information into several topics and sub-topics coupled with bulleted points making it easier to read and navigate through the book when referencing or skim reading. I was mesmerized by the book, learned profound lessons in management and leadership, and I found nothing to dislike in the book.

This book will be essential and resourceful to every entrepreneur and business manager. The author even went further to include lessons on leadership making this book a complete guide for business structuring and management. Hence I recommend the book to any reader who aspires to build their business as well as to managers, employees, shareholders, and other readers interested in learning vital management skills.

Lastly, the book was well-written and I found no grammatical errors. As for the editing, it was exceptionally well-edited. I would rate the book 4 out of 4 stars for its brilliant and magnificent work.
